Guided autobiography is a written story of one's personal history. With the help of a certified instructor, you begin to write a series of life themes to gain access to memories and to organize them in a way to stimulate personal memories of your life. Other terms that are used are life stories, life review, reminiscences, memoirs and more!

Guided autobiography is not therapy. Its purpose is not to cure or improve psychological, social or emotional problems. Nevertheless, it often can be therapeutic!
